If you know me, I have been an Activist since, well, probably forever. But for the last few years, I have supported, promoted and helped recruit people for three, interconnected organizations that are near and dear to my heart.
There is a global initiative, for the most past, to end disease, extreme poverty and more, to help make our world a better place for not just humans, but all living creatures, great and small.
With everyone that volunteers and works with/at ONE, RED and The Global Fund, we are banding together to end AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria and Extreme Poverty, just to name a few. By. 2030, we want these issues eradicated from our planet so we can all have a better future.
This is going to be a long post, but it's important to those of us who want to be the change we want to see in the world!
I am proud to be a part of these three, interconnected organizations!:
Follow ONE on:
Let's start with ending Extreme Poverty! Every man, woman and child, should have access to clean, safe water and nutritious food around the world.
Where you live, should never determine IF you live!
At ONE We believe the fight against poverty isn’t about charity, but about justice and equality.
ONE is a global movement campaigning to end extreme poverty and preventable disease by 2030, so that everyone, everywhere can lead a life of dignity and opportunity.
Co-founded by Bono and other activists, ONE is strictly nonpartisan. ONE is not a grant-making organisation and does not solicit funding from the public or receive government funds. ONE is funded almost entirely by foundations, individual philanthropists and corporate partners.
Join the fight against extreme poverty now!

Introducing The Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Malaria And Tuberculosis.
The Global Fund partnership mobilizes and invests more than $4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in more than 100 countries.
Together with ONE and RED, we are going to Step Up The Fight to end AIDS, Malaria, TB and Extreme Poverty. Our promise to all 7 year olds today: We will end these issues, so you don't have to!
Through The Global Fund Partnership:
Over 27 million lives have been saved.
Over 17 million people have access to live saving AIDS/HIV medication.
Almost 200 million mosquito nets have prevented malaria in high risk areas of the world.
In 2000, AIDS, TB and malaria appeared to be unstoppable. In many countries, AIDS devastated an entire generation, leaving countless orphans and shattered communities. Malaria killed young children and pregnant women unable to protect themselves from mosquitoes or access life-saving medicine. TB unfairly afflicted the poor, as it had for millennia.
The world fought back. As a partnership of governments, civil society, technical agencies, the private sector and people affected by the diseases, the Global Fund pools the world’s resources to invest strategically in programs to end AIDS, TB and malaria as epidemics.

Follow RED on:
I have blogged about RED before, because, like the previous two, this is just an amazing organization!
Today, over 23 million people living with HIV have access to life-saving medication. AIDS-related deaths have been cut in half since their peak in 2004 and the number of babies born each day with HIV has declined by two thirds since 2000.
Medication is a key piece of winning this fight, but it’s not the only piece. (RED)-funded grants support a diverse range of life-saving HIV/AIDS programs, including prevention, testing, counseling, and treatment services, sexual reproductive health education, peer mentorship programs and much more. THE BILL & MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. In developing countries, it focuses on improving people’s health, giving them the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty. In the U.S., it seeks to ensure that all people—especially those with the fewest resources—have access to the opportunities they need to succeed in school and life.

More about The Brother's Trust:
Follow The Brother's Trust on:
The Brothers Trust was set up in 2017 by Nikki and Dom Holland, parents to four boys; Tom, Sam, Harry and Paddy - the 'brothers'. Tom Holland is the focal point of the charity and its fund raising efforts, but he is ably supported by his younger brothers.
Using Tom's reach and popularity, the trust intends to run a number of events each year and the funds raised then being granted to charities who we support.
The trust is keen to shine a light on charities who struggle to be heard in the noisy and competitive not-for-profit sector - and charities who can best demonstrate the most effective use of funds to profit the people in need and not on bloated administration.
