Not just the last day of school...

But also the last day of elementary for my oldest! Nick will be starting middle school in September, and I am not sure if I should be happy or cry...or maybe both! It is hard to believe he started school just 6 years ago. This is a big life change for him, and I will be wishing him all the best in his new endeavors. I am positive he will do great in middle school, and thrive even more then he did in his elementary years! 

I feel the need to just recap his elementary years...

Kindergarten: Slingerlands Elementary

Such an amazing transformation over the last 6 years! My little man is becoming a young adult. I am so very proud of him, and all he has accomplished in school and in life. He is the best kid (well, one of the 4) a mom could ever ask for! 

I love you buddy! I know you will do great in middle school and beyond!

Wow! Where has this year gone?! I can not believe my baby boy is 1 already!

You have grown up so much in the last year, and have become am amazing little person. You love to play with your brothers and sister, love being outside, and LOVE to snuggle with mommy and daddy! You are just such a smart little guy, and amaze me every day with what you can do!

You love to snuggle and play with your brothers and sister, and laugh so hard when they play with you! You still need to think about sleeping through the night though :) But I am sure that will come...eventually :)

It was a Zoo at the Bronx Zoo!

So today was the 5th grade field trip to the Bronx Zoo. 4 classes of 10 and 11 year olds, 4 tour buses, and many parents! We all had a blast, and I think I will be tired for DAYS
